Questionable Christianity amongst Africans

CHRISTIANITY was known to be a way of raising good mannered and people with good morality. It was a way parents uses to pave a good way for their children by ensuring that respect is also instilled within them. However, God fearing channel has now become Money making channel.

This kind of behavior is mostly witnessed amongst Africans who claim to be Prophets or Pastors. They try by all means to attract as many fans as possible for their churches to be filled as their pockets are also expanded by the money from the poor who are vulnerable to get assisted from the said Prophets.

On Tuesday SABC's programme Cutting Edge exposed how these Pastors/Prophets operate. It spoke to several people who had been acting at Alleluia ministries, where a church founder Alph Lukau claimed to have powers to do miracles.

Recently on what to the World by storm and shocked them was the resurrection of Bryton Moyo who stage name is "Elliott". This and other acts like those of Doom Pastor, Grass Eating and Snake pastor brought several questions to the Christian belief.

Other Priest and Pastors joined in condemning the way in which other Pastors took advantage of the vulnerable society. Members of the society are also worried that the " Miracle Men" are doing as they pleases and enjoy making money in what the society believe is not Christianity but scamming.

(The question we ask.....Does all these kinds of shocking behaviour represent Christianity? Why are they taking place in Africa on Vulnerable people?)
