Society needs prayers most

PRAYERS are needed most to safe the society out of the current trouble of killings. During his prayers at the Limpopo provincial Stability summit on Thursday, Pastor Awedzani Nemaukwe requested God to instill fear into human beings. This comes after several shocking experiences of killingsbthat took place in the country.

Young children also involved in some as the perpetrators. He said fearing the Almighty God is the only better way for human race to getnback to their senses.

The country is approaching election times and it is commonly known that violence took centre stage. The prayers and the summit are for a hope that no areas will be regarded as no-go by citizens or criminals.

"When you fear God, you fear nothing but when you don't fear God your fear everything else. Lord give them knowledge, give them wisdom and understanding. Guide us and lead us as we pray believing that you are listening tonour prayers Lord. For you are the listener of the prayers of your servants," prayed Nemaukwe.

On the day of the summit, the Limpopo High court was handing the hefty life sentence to Cuthbert Manamela for the murdering his girlfriend Lebogang Lamola. He killed her by stabbing her several times in Seshego and he then stole Lamola's house keys. Meanwhile the six minors who were arrested for murder of Thorisho Themane  were also appearing before Children's court in Polokwane applying for bail which was denied.

Collaboration between government and social partner brought Marobathota High school in Moria outside Polokwane, Limpopo to an improved facility. The school's infrustrutre was refurbished to become a motivational and encouraging place of learning. The refurbishing of the school was done together with the Evelyn Lekganyane clinic. On Wednesday South African President Cyril Ramaphosa together with the Zion Christian Church Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane officiated the handing over and opening of the school. The initiative is part of the five urgent tasks identified by President Ramaphosa in the State of the Nation Address earlier this year. Thulare III demands tribal books from Sekhukhune

PARAMOUNT King of Bapedi tribe Thulare Thulare III want the former regent Kgaudi Sekhukhune to bring back all the documents he used during his era. Thulare says that will make him forgive Sekhukhune and continue with their lives as son and uncle. The two had been in a fight over a throne for years. The fight started between Thulare's late father Rhyne and Sekhukhune.  The matter was settled by the High court last year when declaring Thulare as the rightful King of Bapedi tribe over Sekhukhune. The tribal fight divided the communities in Sekhukhune area. Sekhukhune did not back down and took the matter to the Supreme Court of Appeal to set aside the high court decision.
